1. Nature of the service

PassVerity is an independent, on-device utility that transcribes the machine-readable zone and reads compatible passport NFC chips. It is provided for personal, informational use only.

• PassVerity is not a government service and is not affiliated with any issuing authority.
• PassVerity is not certified for identity proofing, regulated KYC, immigration, border control, or any official purpose.
• Results are informational and are not proof of identity, document authenticity, travel eligibility, or official status.

2. Lawful use

You may use the App only with the document holder's knowledge and lawful consent. You must not use scan results to defraud, deceive, impersonate, or misrepresent identity to any person or organization.

3. Purchases

Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Payments are processed by Apple or Google through their stores and their terms apply. Refunds are handled by the store where the purchase was made.

4. Availability and accuracy

The App is provided as-is and as-available. Scans or chip reads may fail or produce incomplete results depending on the document, passport-chip support, camera, lighting, and device. Always rely on the physical document and the relevant issuing authority.

5. Intellectual property

The App's design, code, branding, and content belong to PassVerity or its licensors. Your purchase grants a license to use the App in accordance with the End User License Agreement.
